Welcome to Sherry Robinson Designs! A bit about myself .... I'm a jewelry artist, have worked in many mediums, including Calligraphy, PMC, Polymer Clay, Watercolor, Acrylic, Crochet, Stamping, Photography, Ceramics & Pottery, Sewing & last but certainly not least, I'm a Foodie! Given my varied interests, I will be posting pictures, tutorials, and information about the medium I'm working currently in. I have been involved in crafts of form or another for as long as I can remember. Folded & woven gum wrapper chains of the 70's? Yep! I made them waaay back then too. (Guess I'm telling my age on that one!) Potholders woven from the stringy cotton & nylon loops, yeah they're in my repertoire as well. Melted crayons dripped down chianti bottles are also a part of my all too distant childhood. Majors in high school & college were Commercial Art & Elementary Education, with color combinations being a total passion for me. I enjoy using the color wheel to come up with combinations that speak to me. Whether it's contrasting colors or monochromatic, using different shades of the same color to create new jewelry designs, I thrive on having lots of color around me. The items shown on my website will change as I evolve, depending on where my muse leads me. My hope is to inspire my visitors to push their creativity to new levels as well. My intent is to challenge myself as well the people around me to express their creativity in forms that speak to them most.
